Citi Global Wealth appoints new COO
Valderrabano worked with Coca-Cola prior to joining Citi.
Citi Global Wealth has announced Valentin Valderrabano as its new chief operating officer (COO). He will begin in his new role in July.
Former Citi Global Wealth COO, Eduardo Martinez Campos, will helm the Citi Wealth Services and Strategic Investments moving forward.
Prior to his new role, Valderrabano was the consumer business manager (CBM) for Citibank Korea, where he reportedly delivered growth for the business by leading the transformation of the wealth management model and strengthening the digital capabilities of the bank.
He has worked with Citi for over 20 years, taking up leadership roles across several businesses and regions including Spain, London, Greece, Singapore, the U.S., and most recently, Korea.
Before joining Citi, Valentin worked at The Coca-Cola Company in the US and Mexico.
Ji-Kang Kim, currently the head of retail banking at Citibank Korea, will become the new Consumer Business Manager for Korea as of 1 July.
