KBank Private Banking, EQT Partners unveil new private equity fund

The minimum investment is THB500,000 with an 18 month lock-up period.

KBank Private Banking is offering a new private equity fund in partnership with EQT Partners, a Swedish investment firm.

Launched on 13 May, the K Global Private Equity (K-GPEQ-UI) is a semi-liquid fund that allows investment on a monthly basis, whilst redemptions can be requested every quarter following an 18-month lock-up period.

The minimum initial investment is also accessible at THB500,000. The fund is offered to KBank’s ultra-high net worth individuals. 

Additional investments can be made following an initial 18 month lock-up period. 

Today, EQT Partners manages $250b in total assets and invests across teh world. Individuals will reportedly be able to access EQT’s range of global investment strategies, focused on high performing private equity strategies and value-added infrastructure.
