Bank of Singapore names Credit Suisse banker as Greater China COO
Ronnie Cheung was appointed as Credit Suisse’s Hong Kong COO in 2021
Bank of Singapore has named Ronnie Cheung (張悦華) as chief operating officer of Greater China, Hong Kong, effective 19 March.
Cheung will be responsible for the governance and operations of Bank of Singapore’s Hong Kong branch to support the franchise’s continued growth across Greater China.
She is also expected to spearhead the bank’s transformation efforts and execution of key strategic initiatives in the region.

Cheung brings over 20 years of industry experience into the role. She joins from Credit Suisse, where she was appointed the Hong Kong COO in 2021. Prior to this, she was Credit Suisse’s China equities COO.
She reports to Cindy Wong, chief executive of the bank’s Hong Kong branch, and functionally to Jacky Ang, global COO of Bank of Singapore.
