Asian Banking & Finance Awards 2012 winners revealed
Find out who the winning banks are in this year’s Retail Banking Awards and the inaugural Wholesale Banking Awards.
On its first year, the Wholesale Banking Awards saw a considerably high number of entries which bodes well for the upcoming years of this prestigious awards. And now on its sixth year, the Asian Banking Retail Banking Awards received a record number of nominations which proved the integrity set by the awards throughout the years.
The nominations were screened by the top partners of different firms in Asia. The judges included Dominic Nixon from PwC, Egidio Zarrella from KPMG, Mohit Mehrotra from Deloitte Consulting, Liew Nam Soon from Ernst and Young Advisory LLP, and Andrew Pitcher from Accenture.
The awarding ceremony in Singapore last August 23 was hosted by no less than BBC World News anchor Rico Hizon and was graced by nearly 200 Asian bankers.
"We take pleasure in recognising the 27 winners in the Wholesale Banking Awards and 35 winners in the Retail Banking Awards. Congratulations to all the winning banks. We hope to see you all again next year," said Publisher Tim Charlton.
