Bank of Singapore appoints Ranjit Khanna as Middle East global market head and Dubai branch chief
The appointment is effective 3 April 2023 and subject to regulatory approval.
Industry Veteran, Ranjit Khanna, was appointed by the Bank of Singapore to take the role of Global Market Head of the Middle East and Chief Executive of its Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Branch.
Beginning on 3 April 2023, Khanna will be part of the bank’s management committee and will report to Singapore Chief Executive Officer Jason Moo.
Khanna will manage all branches of the Bank of Singapore located in the Middle East to further the bank’s business growth as it enhances its presence in the region.
“The decision to appoint a management committee member based in DIFC to oversee all the Branch’s functions, including governance and business growth, comes at an opportune time as the Middle East and Africa are poised to see the biggest wealth growth among the world’s regions, based on the Boston Consulting Group’s Global Wealth Report 2022,” the Bank of Singapore said.
Khanna has more than 25 years of experience in the industry and leading major roles. He was also involved in product and sales management with leading international banks.
